The Uffizi Museum is undoubtedly one of the most visited places of culture in Europe and therefore always besieged by thousands of tourists. Long queues are often formed at the entrance that can last for hours.
So it is always advisable to book at least the entrance ticket in advance to avoid wasting a lot of time in line in front of the ticket office and not getting tired inside the museum. This will allow you to enter from a reserved entrance saving you hours of queuing. The entry procedures will thus be reduced to about 15 minutes.
The ticket includes entry at a fixed time and it is therefore necessary to arrive on time in order not to lose priority in the entrance.
Once you have chosen the date and time and placed your order online, you will receive a voucher with all the instructions for entry. It will not be necessary to print this voucher which can also be shown at the ticket office on digital device (smartphone or tablet - digital voucher accepted!!!).
How far in advance should I book the ticket to the Uffizi then?
If you want to be sure of being able to visit the Uffizi Gallery on a particular day and especially at a certain time of day, it is worth booking 1-2 months in advance. Between March and October, availability runs out very quickly and you risk not being able to be satisfied.
