In any case, cancellations must be communicated in writing by email in order to receive a partial refund of the amount paid, where required by the cancellation policy below.
For the purposes of calculating the cancellation penalty, the date of receipt of the cancellation request by the customer will prevail. Please note that cancellation requests received by telephone and not accompanied by any written document will not be considered valid.
The cancellation policy varies depending on the type of service purchased.
From booking to 72 hours before the day of the visit, the cancellation penalty is equal to 8.00 euros per ticket. Starting from 72 hours prior to the day of the visit and in case of no-show (no show) the cancellation penalty is equal to 100% of the amount paid, therefore you will not be entitled to any refund.
From booking to 4 days before the date of the visit, the cancellation penalty applied is equal to 30% of the total tour price.
For those cancellations that are communicated to Italy Travels from 3 days prior to the day of the visit, the cancellation penalty applied is the full amount of the tour (100% of the total price), therefore you will not be entitled to any refund.
The aforementioned cancellation policy will be applied proportionally to partial cancellations of the number of participants in the tour.
From booking to 9 days before the date of the visit, the cancellation penalty applied is 20% of the total tour price.
If the cancellation is communicated between 8 and 4 days before the date of the visit, the cancellation penalty applied is equal to 40% of the total tour price.
For those cancellations that are communicated to Italy Travels from 3 days prior to the day of the visit, the cancellation penalty applied is the full amount of the tour (100% of the total price), therefore you will not be entitled to any refund.
Partial refunds following cancellations or changes to reservations will be paid within 30 days from written request.
The reimbursement costs are charged to the customer.
For payments made by credit card, the refund will be made by directly crediting the customer's credit card for the amount recognized.
If the payment has been made by bank transfer, Italy Travels will in turn reimburse the due amount by bank transfer. It will be the responsibility of the customer requesting the refund to provide Italy Travels with precise bank details by email. The reimbursement costs, whether it is a transfer to an Italian or a foreign bank, are in any case charged to the customer and will be deducted from the refund amount recognized.
